Yeah, stocking shelves is one of those glamor occupations people just find themselves gravitating towards. It’s certainly one of the occupations high school guidance counselors hold out as a brass ring to today’s students. It’s one of the last bastions of cushy unionized jobs with those ridiculous fringe benefits: health care, pension and overtime pay.
